My dog is about 15 lbs and he doesn't fit very well in the sling. I like this for carrying him after he's gotten super tired on a hike and will lay down, but he can not sit up in the sling without it pitching forward. He almost face planted on the ground a couple times while trying to sit.

My dog loves sitting in the sling and bouncing along on my hip! She is very old and has trouble walking but is still very alert. This gives her a great vantage point but doesn't make my arms tired from carrying her. Plus it frees up my hands for chores.

I purchased this for my dog just after he went blind with cataracts. We were going out of town and I was having difficulty using a leash for him so I thought this would be better for him while we were staying at a hotel. It took a couple times of using it before he bacame safe in it since he did not understand where he was when placed inside it. After adjusting, he loved the security of it. My one complaint though is that he does not like his collar attached to the clip as it gives him a tight feeling around his neck, so I unhook him from that but keep the other clip connected so that he does not try getting out. He is only seven pounds but since he does not realize that he is above the ground, I have to be careful. I wish I would have purchased this a long time ago, he would have enjoyed it and then made the adjustment easier before going blind. Also when using this when the weather is warm, he tends to get hot. I now use this when I take my dog into work. I have a long walk from the parking lot so this works great!

Our chihuahua likes to ride in his sling when he gets tuckered out during our walks with the pack. Five or ten minutes revitalizes him so he can once again join the other dogs in exploring the neighborhood. It is very easy to use the sling and makes carrying the little one much, much easier and we can definitely increase our walk time. The sling is easy to wear but it does take practice to get him in and out of the sling.

My wife and I purchased this in hopes to upgrade our Chihuahua's current travel "bag" for when we take him on our motorcycle. The qaulity appears to be decent and leash teather and small snack pocket are nice. However, the sides do not come up far enough for us or our dog to be comfortable. The product says for dogs up to 20 lbs, but I'd check his/her overall size too - our dog is just too big even though he's within the weight limit of the bag.
